Minister Zaritza Dinkova was an official guest at a concert marking the beginning of the Spanish EU Presidency

With a concert of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra conducted by Pedro Halfter, in Varna, the Embassies of Spain and Sweden in Bulgaria celebrated the transition of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from Sweden to Spain, marking the beginning of the upcoming six-month Spanish Presidency.

The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. Among the official guests there were nearly twenty senior diplomats and ambassadors who came to Varna for the event.

It was held under the motto of the Spanish Presidency "Europe closer", a message that wants to bring the institutions closer to the people and raise their awareness of the benefits of membership in the European family, as well as the ways in which it makes life easier for citizens.

The idea to do the rotating transmission through a cultural event highlights another important aspect of the presidency under which it will pass - the concept of unity of peoples and cultures.
